In the context of the project “Save Our Planet”, representatives from “DIAN Training Activities”, as well as representatives from the other partners of the project, participated in Adiyaman from 18-9-2021 to 21-9-2021, in a transnational partners meeting. The meeting was hosted by Adiyaman Belediyesi.
The “Saving Our Planet” project aims to raise public awareness on issues related to Environmental Protection. To achieve this goal, appropriate “volunteers” who belong to the group of people with mobility difficulties will be trained to in turn educate and sensitize others on Environmental Protection issues.
Since this was the final transnational partners meeting in the context of “Save Our Planet” project, the partners took this opportunity to over the implemented activities of the past year and confirm that the project was implemented successfully according to the proposal.
While there, the partners met with the Mayor and the Governor of Adiyaman. Both of them have been supporters of the project since its inception and were very happy to hear that the project was successfully implemented.
Finally, the partners presented the project and their organisations to a number of city officials and people with kinetic disabilities (the target group of the project). The presentation was well received by the audience, who had already taken part in the project as trainees.
This final meeting worked positively to ensure that the implementation was as described in the proposal and that the project ended on a high note, with the final presentation and gathering of the people with kinetic disabilities. The organisation and preparation by Adiyaman Belediyesi, which hosted the partners in Turkey, was excellent.

The partners have pledged to support anyone willing to implement the project in their countries or organisations.
