Together Everyone Can Prevent Cyberbullying:
Presentation On Cyberbullying, with students and teachers of the 1st EPAL Drapetsona Technical School
On May 17, representatives of DIAN and the TECPC project “Together We Can Prevent Cyberbullying” (2020-1-RO01-KA226-SCH-095269), presented to students and teachers of the 3rd EPAL of Drapetsona the progress of the project, its first two outputs, as well as the next two outputs that will be completed in March 2023, at the end of the project.
Students and teachers gathered in two groups and through the presentation, participants learned about the profiles of victims and perpetrators of cyberbullying, from the Scientific Analysis of the data collected in the first phase of the project.
They were informed about the contents of the second result of the project, which is a useful Handbook for teachers. The Handbook has been created in close collaboration with teachers, school counselors, parents, students, community members who are interested in the project. The partners will complete their work on the training material created in the form of a Handbook with the scientifically analyzed impact of cyberbullying and intervention strategies and by the start of September, it will be available in the languages of the partner countries.
Brief mention was made of the following two results:
Α) The online course (Online Course) is the third result of the project. The teachers will have access to, after the Pilot Implementation of October 2022.
Β) The fourth and final result is an innovative smartphone educational application. which will be released in March 2023 and is based on the educational material that has been produced, with a scientific approach and in collaboration with many experts from schools, universities, companies and organizations active in the field of education.
The event ended with a discussion between DIAN representatives and the attendees.
