Acquaintance with the Ancient Greek Theater is the subject of this publication.
The approach is difficult. The responsibility for proper and reliable recording is great. The final result of the effort will be judged by experts, scholars, but also ordinary readers interested in the subject.
I believe that the General Secretariat of Popular Education has made the most appropriate collaborations, through the Community Program “KALEIDOSKOPIO”.
The Moraitis School (coordinator), the European ORFF FORUM Institute and the DE KLEINE ACADEMIE have been key contributors to the program’s success.
This program gives us the opportunity to transfer to the citizens of European countries a great part of our cultural heritage.
To give them the opportunity to get to know the ancient Greek writers and the ways in which, through their theatrical works, they “passed” to the spectators their reflection and the great philosophical messages.
The General Secretariat of Popular Education feels the obligation to warmly thank the Moraitis School for its cooperation and the writers and people of art, who collaborated and kindly provided their texts published in this edition.
The General Secretariat for Popular Education will always be a helper of any substantial effort related to art and culture.
