Μετά από επτά χρόνια, που αντιστοιχούν σε επτά επιτυχημένα ηλεκτρονικά τεύχη του περιοδικού Choros International Dance Journal, δημιουργήθηκε μια πολύ εποικοδομητική συνεργασία και διάλογος μεταξύ των Ελλήνων και των διεθνών ερευνητών χορού (μέλη της συντακτικής επιτροπής, κριτές που έκαναν την επιστημονική κρίση των άρθρων και συμμετέχοντες). Σε αυτό το πλαίσιο καταλήξαμε στην ιδέα της δημοσίευσης μιας Ανθολογίας, σε δύο τόμους, το 2019 και το 2020 με βάση μια σειρά επιλεγμένων άρθρων από τα επτά τεύχη του περιοδικού Choros International Dance Journal, με τίτλο Dancing Dialogues. Πράγματι, πιστεύουμε ότι αυτές οι εκδόσεις μπορεί να συμβάλουν στην προώθηση του χορού τόσο σε ακαδημαϊκούς όσο και σε κοινωνικοπολιτιστικούς όρους.
After seven years, corresponding to seven successful electronic issues of Choros International Dance Journal a very fruitful collaboration and dialogue sprung between Greek and international dance scholars (editorial board members, reviewers and contributors). It is in this context that we came up with the idea of publishing an Anthology, in two volumes, in 2019 and in 2020 based on a selection of articles from the 7 issues of Choros International Dance Journal, entitled Dancing Dialogues. Indeed, we believe that these publications can contribute to advancing Dance in both academic and socio-cultural terms.
