Who bit the apple?
A “different” book for children of 10 years and above.
The well known composer Mimis Plessas with its musical sensitivity composed the music that accompanies the stories.
The educator Eleftheria Kouroupi has written 10 short stories on the “apple”, beginning from the “Aphrodite Apple” and ending with the “Bitten Apple” of Apple Computers.
The artist Lavrentis Horaitis illustrated the book bringing about an aesthetically very pleasing result.
The book is accompanied by a CD in which the narrator Spyros Kleisas smoothly connects each story with the lyrics. These songs are sung by the student’s choir of the Leontio school, Nea Smirni, under the direction of Katerina Vasilikou.
EDUCATIONAL INNOVATION
All of those who have contributed to the production of this book wish to help Teachers and Parents to collaborate with their students/children in order to bring out and develop their talents in writing, drawing and composing, working individually or in groups.
Their aim will be to create their own complete stories, which will be uploaded on DIAN’s e-platform. An expert committee will choose the best 10 which will be included in the next publication. Details on the last page of the book.
The general coordination of the educational aspect of the publication is carried out by Panos Milios, an educator with wide experience in innovative educational activities.
