
2nd Meeting in Évora, Portugal

The 2nd meeting of the three organizations participating in the European project “Innovation in Agriculture” took place in the beautiful and historic city of Évora, Portugal, from 5 to 7 May 2026. Representatives of the above Organizations attended the meeting and worked together to ensure the successful implementation of the project’s objectives.
During the meeting, representatives of the three organizations presented the activities that have already been implemented in their respective countries within the framework of the project, as well as the progress achieved to date. They also discussed and planned the actions that need to be completed before the end of the project, placing particular emphasis on training activities and the dissemination of project results at both national and European levels.
Special attention was given to the evaluation of the training materials provided by DIAN. The partners reviewed the quality and suitability of the materials, as well as the quality of their translations into the languages of the participating countries. They expressed their satisfaction with the standard of the work produced and put forward suggestions for further improvements.
During the meeting, it was decided that the next transnational meeting will take place in Greece in late August or early September 2026. The objective of this meeting will be to evaluate the training activities carried out in the three participating countries and to prepare for the project’s final event, which will be held in Adana upon the completion of the project.
On the occasion of the meeting in Évora, the DIAN representative informed the other partners about opportunities for participation in new European projects and initiatives, presenting the European programmes EURES TMS and Alliance. At the same time, all participating organizations were encouraged to actively engage in these new cooperation opportunities, aiming to further develop international partnerships and strengthen innovation in the agricultural sector.
The meeting concluded in a highly positive atmosphere of cooperation, reaffirming the commitment of all partners to the successful completion of the project and to maximizing its impact on local communities and the European agricultural sector.
