Erasmus+, Small-Scale Project for Vocational Education and Training
The In_AgriCulture project is a collaborative initiative involving Çukurova İlçe Tarım ve Orman Müdürlüğü from Turkey, K MILIOS AND SIA OE from Greece, and TERRAS DENTRO – Associação para o Desenvolvimento Integrado from Portugal. The project aims to modernize agricultural vocational education by integrating sustainable farming practices and innovative technologies to address climate change challenges and economic sustainability in rural areas.
Brief Presentation of the Program:
The In_AgriCulture project focuses on equipping vocational educators, farmers, and agricultural professionals with advanced knowledge in sustainable agriculture, digital farming, and environmental conservation. The project promotes the use of technology to enhance efficiency and resilience in the agricultural sector.
Key Objectives:
- Enhancing the skills of vocational educators in sustainable agriculture.
- Developing innovative training material on eco-friendly agricultural practices, smart farming technologies, and climate resilience.
- Implementing pilot training activities for educators and farmers in Turkey, Greece, and Portugal.
- Supporting the digital transformation of vocational education through online learning resources.
- Strengthening transnational cooperation to create a European-wide network for knowledge exchange in agriculture.
Implementation Steps of the Program:
The program will be carried out through the following actions and initiatives:
- Project Management (WP1): Ensuring smooth execution and coordination among project partners.
- Development of Training Material (WP2): Creating AI-supported, interactive, and multilingual educational resources for vocational educators and farmers.
- Training Activities (WP3): Organizing workshops and hands-on training in Turkey, Greece, and Portugal.
- Dissemination & Sustainability (WP4): Spreading awareness through workshops, online platforms, and vocational networks across Europe.
- Evaluation (WP5): Measuring the project impact based on qualitative and quantitative indicators.
