DIAN is participating as a partner, from 1/3/2022 to 1/7/2023 in the implementation of the European Program “TEESEP”.
The “TEESEP” program aims to train Ex-Prisoners (Target Group) in digitalisation/archiving methodologies as well as basic concepts of Entrepreneurship. To achieve this goal, appropriate participants who belong to the Ex-Prisoners group, will be trained.
In this way, Ex-Prisoners, will improve their skills and competences, their employability and perhaps even enable them to start their own small businesses, thus becoming more active, valued and productive members of society.
The TEESEP program is officially over! We celebrate another successful implementation of a European Project. In the context of the project 10 ex prisoners from Greece and 10 ex-prisoners from Turkey were trained in Information and Communication Technologies. More specifically, they were trained to digitize archives in order to improve their employability. Finally, they were given an entrepreneurship course in order to assist them with starting a new business and once again becoming active members of society.
Members of the organisations implementing the project were also trained on how to provide assistance and advice to ex-prisoners in case they need some quick help.
The program was very successful and the trainings were implemented without a problem. The ex-prisoners reported high satisfaction rates with the training they were provided. It was all in all a positive learning experience for everyone involved. The ex-prisoners received training on a valuable subject and the members of the organisations improved their professional profile by becoming able to provide some advice and assistance to this marginalised class.
