The above program involves Dian Training Activities from Greece, the organization Precision EU Company from Belgium and the University of Thessaly.
Brief Presentation of the Program:
The CLImaiTE program aims to promote environmental awareness through AI and empower educators and local organizations to take practical measures to combat climate change. By integrating AI into environmental education, we ensure that even remote communities have access to modern technological tools.
Key Objectives:
- To train educators and local organizations to use AI tools for climate data analysis.
- To develop AI-supported educational material on climate change and mitigation strategies.
- To implement small-scale environmental actions in local communities.
- To create a network for knowledge exchange and collaboration on climate change solutions using AI.
Implementation Steps of the Program:
The program will be carried out through the following actions and initiatives:
- Project Management (WP1): To ensure smooth execution of the project and communication among partners.
- Development of Educational Material (WP2): AI-supported educational material for educators and environmental scientists.
- Educational Activities (WP3): Practical training sessions in Greece and Belgium.
- Dissemination & Sustainability (WP4): To inform local and various stakeholders and organizing groups and EU organizations through workshops and digital platforms.
- Evaluation (WP5): To Access the project impact using qualitative and quantitative indicators.
- AI & Climate Change Training Workshop – June 2025, Thessaly, Greece
- Final Conference on AI and Sustainability – December 2025, Brussels, Belgium
