In the chapters of the book “The European Union and the European Citizen” a brief review of the history of a united Europe is made, the current reality in the countries of the European Union and its positions on issues such as Agricultural Policy, its Protection Environment, Labor and Social Security, Education, etc.
They also provide answers to the most common questions that concern European citizens and are related to their free movement and residence in an EU country wishing to have the right to study, engage in professional activity, purchase and transport items for personal use, etc.
Information is also being provided on the protection provided by Community law and the procedures that a European citizen must follow in order to seek refuge in the European Court of Justice, when he or she considers that he or she has been wronged by private bodies or public authorities.
The data in the book were obtained from publications published by the EU services and from private publications. A list of this bibliography is given at the end of the book.
