Τhe Alliance Project
Our company, Dian K. Milios & Sia O.E., participates as a partner in the European project ‘Alliance’, in cooperation with organizations from five European countries.
The «ALLIANCE» project (Advancing Learning and Linking Institutions for EU Projects and Networking Cooperation), that will last for 36 months from 01/01/2025 to 31/12/2027, is an Erasmus+ Capacity Building initiative designed to internationalize vocational education and training (VET) systems in Albania and Kosovo. By establishing International Offices within selected VET schools, the project creates permanent structures to foster mobility, project development, staff training, and international cooperation aligned with European standards. These Offices act as strategic hubs, connecting institutions with EU partners, coordinating cross-border initiatives, and enhancing the schools’ capacity in research, innovation, and networking. In a region marked by youth unemployment and limited global outreach, ALLIANCE lays the foundation for sustainable collaboration, enabling VET institutions to become engines of growth, inclusion, and international engagement in the Western Balkans
The OBJECTIVES of the Project are:
- Increase capacity in project management, R&D, and international networking
- Facilitate mobility opportunities for students and staff
- Develop e-learning tools and training materials for VET professionals
- Promote peer learning and cross-border collaboration
- Align VET practices with EU digital and green skills frameworks (DigiComp & GreenComp)
- Bridge gaps between education providers and the labor market
- Establish permanent International Offices as institutional hubs for global engagement
- Strengthen the international visibility and competitiveness of VET schools in the Western Balkans
The EXPECTED RESULTS of the project are:
- Improved institutional capacity in managing EU-funded projects and mobility programs
- A network of trained mobility managers and VET staff with enhanced skills in R&D, project design, and international collaboration
- Strengthened cross-border partnerships between EU and Western Balkans VET providers
- Accessible digital learning tools and guides supporting internationalization processes
- Updated VET programs aligned with European standards and market needs
- Increased mobility participation of learners and staff across borders
- Enhanced visibility and reputation of VET schools at the European level
